Miami Book Fair presents First Draft, a series of informal writing events that turn happy hours into great stories is an annual two-day street fair and literary festival organized by Miami Dade College. The fair brings over 300 national and international authors exhibitors to a weeklong gathering and includes pavilions for translation, comics, children, and young adults.

 Miami Book Fair offers year-round opportunities for media content with bestselling and award winning authors in conversation, writing workshops for all levels, and other literary culture-centric events.  Each November we bring hundreds of authors and tens of thousands of attendees to the Fair downtown, and offer exciting opportunities for press and media on-site.  MBF is SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST THE AUTHORS WE HOST. We also offer national and international book publishers, educational children’s activities, live music and other performances, cool get-togethers, and a three-day street fair.
